This bachelor's thesis deals with the design of sanitary and gas installations in an apartment building in Brno and its connection to existing utilities. It is an apartment building with four floors above ground and one underground floor. There are four apartments on each floor. The theoretical part focuses on the history of hygienic fixtures. It decribes both the present and the time when people had no idea about furnishing items. The computational part deals with the distribution of rainwater and sewage, water and gas and its connection to public networks.

Bachelor thesis contains a design the sanitation installations and gas installations in the apartment block. The theoretical part deals with the use of rainwater in the building as the process water. The part of calculations and the project includes a design the storm and sanitary sewers, internal water supply systems, gas installations and design of connections to the existing conduit of technical equipment. The building is designed in the gap between the existing neighboring buildings and consists of three floors and a basement.

This Diploma Thesis presents a project focused on the installation of utilities consisting of fresh and hot water distribution, gas plumbing, and waste or sewage piping within the building along with their connection to a public network. The building is located in the village of Ratmerice and is intended as a hotel with a restaurant. In addition, the document presents different options for hot water preparation and distribution, along with an assessment of the advantages and disadvantages of the different systems available. A comparative analysis based on various criteria is carried out to determine the optimal solution for the specific characteristics of the building, its intended use, and the availability of public servi-ces in the given location.

In the theoretical part we can learn something about the infiltration of rainwater and facilities for infiltration of rainwater. Computational part of a project proposal includes sanitary and storm sewers, water mains internal, domestic gas connection and building on existing network hardware. It is a residential building designed for housing. The building has three floors and no basement.

The project part solves sanitary equipment and installation of a residential building in the selected case. It is a multi-storey building which is intended for long-term living.

This Bachelor’s thesis deals with the reconstruction of water supply system in an apartment building in Brno. It is a tower block with nine floors and a basement. The apartments are located on the third to the ninth floor. The theoretical part deals with pipe support, pipe materials, calculation of linear thermal expansion of pipes and its compensation methods. The project solves reconstruction of water supply installations in this house.

The practical part of the work deals with the most suitable design of drinking water supply, gas supply, disposal of sewage and rainwater including their management.
